This sofa set is a must have for the average Canadian family. Soft, durable, comfortable, and with so much storage, you can't go wrong. The light brown microfiber on the seat and back of all three pieces is very luxurious to the touch. It has great stitching and seems like it would hold up very nicely even after years of use. One issue is that the seat and back cushions are attached which would make it hard to clean or flip if a cushion becomes worn. Though, with the quality of fabric and upholstery, I wouldn't see that happening too soon. The arms are very plush and comfortable, and would be perfect for catching an afternoon nap. They are detachable with velcro for easy cleaning and access to the storage area. The dark brown leather-like vinyl on the base is fairly obvious that it's not real leather, but does feel quite lovely to the touch, and contrasts nicely with the lighter microfiber colour. It will hold up over the years and be very maintenance free. Now for the best part, the lift-top storage. Hydraulic lifts means it's well supported and will not slam down on little fingers, though it remains very easy to lift, even for a lightweight like me. The amount of storage in the sofa and loveseat is incredible. The sofa has 7.25 sq. ft. of storage, the loveseat 4.83 sq. ft. The storage area on all three pieces is lined with a black fabric to keep it clean and is perfect for linens, pillows, toys, you name it!
