"I often find myself eating at Chinese restaurants, which probably isn't entirely a coincidence, being that I live in China and all. In the city that I live in, Chongqing, the locals love to eat "hotpot" - this square table very much reminds me of a table at a hotpot restaurant; I can imagine the hotpot in the center of the table with food surrounding it right now! The chairs, specifically the Westport chairs, also seem to have a bit of Asian influence with respect to design. The way that the glass in the middle of the table contrasts with the angled base is absolutely fascinating to me - I have a hard time getting excited about tables, but this one is something special.
