This is a great looking table, however, it's not something I would recommend for the bustling family. The cappuccino finish on this table is beautiful with great wood tones that will suit most home decor. Although the finish does not seem to be the most durable as it may scratch or discolour easily. That's where the Lazy Susan comes in handy. It's very large and placed in the centre of the table so all guests seated around the table can reach with ease. It's made of frosted, tempered glass with a bluey-green hue. I would be very careful to keep hot dishes on the Lazy Susan and use cloth place-mats while dining to keep the table's finish looking new. Another great feature of this set is the storage in the in the pedestal. A cabinet opens from two sides and comes with brackets for storing both wine and wine glasses. Depending on the height of your wine glasses, I'd estimate 12-18 bottles could fit in there. Not a wine drinker? This compartment will also a make great storage space for seasonal centre-pieces, extra place settings, or other liquors. A shelf above the cabinet is perfect for unused place-mats. The chair seats have a really nice latte coloured micro-suede fabric which seems like it will wipe clean easily but may stain. The chairs, though sturdy, may not best benefit hard, everyday use such as by a busy family.
