Collection: Merritt Bedroom Furniture

Merritt Bedroom Furniture for Nicola Valley Homes

Wholesale Furniture Brokers delivers bedroom furniture to Merritt and the Nicola Valley, including platform beds, storage beds, dressers, drawer chests, nightstands, bunk beds and Murphy beds. Platform beds start under $450 and nightstands under $200, and our Kamloops showroom is about an hour north of Merritt on the Coquihalla Highway.

Ranch country style: leather looks and dark wood

Rich browns, leather textures and weathered wood suit homes in ranching country. The True Contemporary Mirabel platform bed is upholstered in espresso faux leather and starts under $450 in three sizes. The Modloft Prince platform bed has a tall, deeply padded eco pelle headboard for a statement piece. For wood with character, the Rustic Classics Blackcomb pairs reclaimed wood with a black metal frame in a warm coffee bean finish, starting under $900.

Should you buy a matching set or mix and match?

A matching collection gives a room a finished look with no guesswork. The Rustic Classics Whistler line includes a storage platform bed, a 6 drawer chest and a 3 drawer nightstand in the same grey or brown reclaimed finish, and the Modubox Studio Essentials dresser and tall chest are designed as a pair. If you prefer a collected look, mix finishes deliberately. Pair a dark bed with lighter nightstands, or keep wood tones consistent and vary the hardware. Browse bedroom sets for coordinated groupings.

What size bed fits your bedroom?

• Twin: Fits rooms about 2.1 by 3 metres (7 by 10 feet), suited to kids' rooms and small guest rooms.
• Full: Fits rooms about 3 by 3 metres (10 by 10 feet), ideal for teens or a single adult.
• Queen: Fits rooms about 3 by 3.6 metres (10 by 12 feet) with space for two nightstands, the most popular size for couples.
• King: Fits rooms about 3.6 by 3.6 metres (12 by 12 feet) or larger, best for primary bedrooms.

Leave about 60 to 90 centimetres (2 to 3 feet) of walkway on the sides of the bed you use, and check the bed frame's dimensions on the product page, since headboards and footboards add length.

Merritt Bedroom Furniture FAQ

Do you deliver bedroom furniture outside Merritt?

Yes. Wholesale Furniture Brokers delivers across the Nicola Valley, including Lower Nicola, Nicola, Quilchena, Douglas Lake, Aspen Grove and Logan Lake. Each product page shows whether an item is in stock or on preorder.

How tall should a nightstand be?

Choose a nightstand whose top sits within about 5 centimetres (2 inches) of the top of your mattress, so a lamp, phone or glass of water is easy to reach. Tall beds with thick mattresses pair well with tall nightstands like the Modubox Coal Harbor.

How much space should be in front of a dresser?

Allow at least 90 centimetres (36 inches) of clear floor space in front of a dresser so the drawers open fully and you can stand comfortably while using them. In tight rooms, a tall drawer chest gives the same storage on a smaller footprint.

What is faux leather?

Faux leather, also called PU or vegan leather, is a synthetic material made to look and feel like leather. It wipes clean easily and costs less than genuine leather, which makes it a practical choice for upholstered headboards and platform beds.
