Which mattresses sleep coolest in a Vernon summer?

Hot, dry North Okanagan summers make a cooling mattress worth considering. Our Rest Therapy cooling mattresses pair bamboo covers with cool gel memory foam, and the hybrid models add pocket coils for airflow and support. Cool gel memory foam mattresses start under $450, and the 12 Inch Revive Ice Silk model uses an ice silk cover for an extra cool feel. Browse all memory foam mattresses or pocket coil mattresses.

What works best for a lake cabin, ski chalet or guest suite?

Second homes near Kalamalka Lake, Okanagan Landing and Silver Star often need beds that adapt to changing numbers of guests. A Murphy bed folds away into a wall unit or cabinet, and cabinet beds come with a gel memory foam mattress option, so the room works as a den or office between visits. Murphy beds start at about $1,200. For a casual cabin look, Rustic Classics reclaimed wood platform beds, chests and nightstands bring natural texture and distressed finishes into the bedroom.

Do you carry RV mattresses for Okanagan road trips?

Yes. Rest Therapy RV mattresses are made in RV sizes for travel trailers and motorhomes, with memory foam and cool gel memory foam options starting under $450. They suit Vernon owners heading out to campgrounds around the Shuswap and the Okanagan.

What bedroom furniture suits a growing family?

Solid wood bunk beds fit two kids into one room, starting under $900. The Fraser twin over twin bunk bed includes two storage drawers and converts into two separate beds as children grow. The Columbia twin over full model adds a storage stairway chest in place of a ladder. Storage beds with built in drawers start under $400 and can replace a dresser in a smaller bedroom.
