The Full Murphy bed folds up and down smoothly thanks to the dual pistonne system. The wall bed can be used every night for a good night’s sleep. The bed accommodates most standard Full matteresses (8-10 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 54 x 75 inches) and supports up to 1000 lb (including matteress). The open bed extends 85. 3 inches from the wall. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 88 inches. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. Closet organizer comes with 2 fixed and 4 adjustable shelves to store your belongings. The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to the floor and wall for maxeimum stability and durability. To avoid risk of injury, the Murphy bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0. 5 inches or thicker).
